Atheists, is it O.K. to occupy a land and settle there [while banishing its natives] for religious reasons?

Because the religion causes ignorance which makes people think that colonialisation is to enlighten the natives in a country purely, and it also gives the impression that the religion is better than any religious beliefs that the natives already had.
