So my step daughter is having trouble with school?? read details pls?

My wife is currently a stay at home mom with dreams of course. she wants to go to school for her degree but and this is just personal i feel like parenting should be done by a parent. thus i think she or myself should stay home to take care of Kelsey, she wants a degreed future and doesnt want to "support my lazy ***" as she puts it. Am i wrong for thinking she should put off goign back to school for her daughters education right now?
