Group Panorama Stitching?

So i was taking photos for the school choir and i found a couple of photos which should work together as a panorama since they were from the same pivot point and the same focal length etc. however the panorama is a group of people and i cant make it a panorama in photoshop it seriously come out as if you cut the image in 2. Please help me stitch this together tell me a good programm or a technique
