Hey how do i reinstall my nic card drivers on my hp laptop?

my internet stopped working 3 days ago and it still wont work ... when i try to connectt to the internet i get a error message saying invalid address...i called my internet provider and they said i need to have my nic drivers reinstalled.. i have a compact laptop and im using windows vista pleeeeeeeez helllpppp.. thanxx
