Hosting a bridal shower-- book and bar?

I actually think it is very cool. I have seen many people now days that are putting CD's and DVD's on their gift registries along with sporting goods. I would see if your book stores have a registry of any kind or have the couple make up a list of books or authors that they would like....with so many types of books out there people are going to need some type of guide lines for their purchases ( it could be they want mysteries or cook books...etc)
